3. In the background, while the screen is off, every 15 minutes enables a synchronization of your Facebook, Twitter, etc. for 30 seconds.
(If in the meantime someone didn't finish download a notification - the application will wait until download)

(synchronization interval is discrete: 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes, an hour, 3 hours)

Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 5.5 is now available for the HTC One. This is a must-have update for all HTC One owners.

OmniROM developer is modding the Moto X touchless voice control into the Nexus 5

Guillaume Lesniak, one of the creators of the OmniROM custom ROM, is working to bring the Moto Xs always-on listening capabilities (touchless control) to the Nexus 5. The developer explained that the N5s Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chipset supports always-on listening in a similar capacity to Motorolas flagship. Qualcomms chipset contains a dedicated voice processor that handles voice commands without activating the central processing unit.

Not unlike similar cases in which available technology was found laying dormant inside the silicon, the voice processor can be activated by tinkering with software. The voice recognitions availability was never a secret, however. It was revealed in a Qualcomm promotional video.

A proof-of-concept video indicates that bringing the Moto Xs touchless controls to Googles phone is really possible. Alas, the mods current condition is unstable and the Nexus 5 ROM will require a fair bit of nipping and tucking before your Nexus becomes obedient.

So after all we will probably see a Nexus 5 model for Sprint and also for T-Mobile,AT&T. But there is no news about the Nexus 5 for Verizon probably you might not see Nexus 5 for Verizon as we told you yesterday Verizon is not a great partner of Google for its Nexus devices. According to the latest rumours the release date is set for November 1st but it is not confirmed by Google.
